is there a way to use my computer as a router for my 360?

  1. Depending on what you’re trying to do, possibly. If you’re trying to use your computer to hook up multiple devices behind it, you can’t unless you are very computer savvy, and have the proper operating system installed (which I’m 99% sure isn’t you – nothing against you, I don’t know how to do that either). If you’re trying to just get internet to your XBOX through your PC, this can work. If your PC is connected straight to your modem I’m not sure it will work, but I know it will if your PC is connected to a router:

    1) Get a second network card (it can be a USB Network one if you want, but I have a PCI network card that works well).

    2) Hook your XBOX up to a normal network slot in the back of your PC, and either hook the internet up to the other normal one, or to the USB one (depending on what you got)

    3) Go to Network Connections (from control panel on your PC)

    4) Select both network connections (one going to XBOX and going to modem) and right click, and select “Bridge Connections”

This will allow you to play your XBOX using your PCs internet connection.
